Tee Hanner Sibling Scholarship

In Honor

The Tee Hanner Sibling Scholarship is in honor of Tarence “Tee” Hanner Jr. Tee is the oldest sibling of Tarionn "Tari" Hanner who tragically passed Nov. 30, 2022; attended Bread of Life Christian Academy, Corp. (BOLCA) from 2017 through 2022. BOLCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private christian school in Palm Bay, Florida that creates opportunities for children with disabilities and their families to engage, connect, and thrive. Tee is a smart young man with passion, and kindness not often found in the heart of a 15 year old now young adult. He tenderly cared for his brother in many ways and volunteered for Tari's favorite place, BOLCA. Tee plans to graduate from Eastern Florida State college in May of 2027. Tee’s legacy and heart for his brother will live through the Tee Hanner Sibling Scholarship.

The Tee Hanner Sibling Scholarship is a one-year, non-renewable award, contingent upon acceptance or enrollment in a two- or four-year nonprofit higher education institution for a sibling of an individual with disabilities in the state of Florida. An award of $500 will be given directly to the applicant’s higher education institution based on the applicant’s merit within the competitive pool.
